Bush rips on Gov. Pawlenty

President Bush tonight in his State of The Union Address

We hear claims that immigrants are somehow bad for the economy -- even though this economy could not function without them. All these are forms of economic retreat, and they lead in the same direction -- toward a stagnant and second-rate economy.

Could he be speaking about a report that Governor Pawlenty put out last month that claimed illegal immigrants cost Minnesota millions a year, but failed to account for the millions more they pay in taxes?
